About Us
Brunt & Company Inc. is a licensed general building contracting company. We specialize in residential and commercial construction. We originally started in 1994 and incorporated on July 23, 1997. Brunt & Company Inc. is a family owned business. The first generation’s sacrifice and commitment to excellence paved the way for the second generation’s new innovative approach to managing operations.

FOUNDERS
The Visionary
Samuel Brunt, Sr., brings decades of professional experience in South Florida as and business consultant on major construction projects, and as a licensed general building contractor on both commercial and residential projects. He has also worked many years in the Maryland/Washington, D.C. area working with a non-profit social enterprise as Operations Manager for its deconstruction operations in Baltimore City, and as construction Project Manager for an affordable housing developer in Washington, D.C. A proud graduate of Howard University, BA ’83, Samuel also has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore, MPA ’85 (Financial Administration).
Samuel has done work on some big projects in South Florida, including serving as the site developer and general building contractor for the 6.5 acre Community Bible Baptist Church Project in Miami, Florida. In addition, he worked as a consultant for local minority business enterprise (MBE) compliance and local hiring requirements on both the American Airlines Arena Project (home of the Miami Heat), and the Arsht Performing Arts Center Project in downtown Miami. Further, Mr. Brunt is a life-long student of self-improvement, and is always reading about, or listening to something informative, inspirational, or upbeat that will improve his people skills, personal productivity, and professional excellence.

Residential Construction
Brunt & Company provides pre construction services to home owners, including construction plan development with the owner and architect, and approval through the respective building department. Residential construction may include new turnkey construction, additions, and or renovations of existing dwellings.
Tenant Build-Out Construction
We provide tenant buildout construction with the required architectural plans if required.
Churches & Houses of Worship
We provide turnkey construction services including plan development in conjunction with the owner, architect, and engineering team. In addition, we provide project management from the issuance of approved plans by the respective building department through issuance of the certificate of occupancy. Services may also include required zoning approval.
Residential Construction
Brunt & Company provides pre-construction services to home owners, including construction plan development with the owner and architect, and approval through the respective building department. Residential construction may include new turnkey construction, additions, and or renovations of existing dwellings. Brunt & Company is exploring the design - build of container homes.
